It’s weird how with the third kid I don’t feel the urge for a huge pregnancy announcement like I did with the first one.
14 weeks pregnant –
I ate vegetables and didn’t get sick! My food aversions are still there, but it is getting a bit better.
15 weeks pregnant –
I want everyone to know that I didn’t just gain a ton of weight, there is a baby in there! Right now it just looks like I’ve eaten a little too much lately (which is also the truth).
16 weeks pregnant –
Still only eating carbs! For breakfast today I had french toast, a frozen waffle and a bowl of ice cream. That was breakfast. I hoped this nausea and these food aversions would disappear after the first trimester!
I measuring myself for a bra. I’m an H! WHAT?! I didn’t even know they made bras that big (kidding… sort of).
17 weeks pregnant –
The bleeding gums are here! I had some of this with my other pregnancies, and it goes away once the baby comes. But it’s pretty annoying.
I’m so weak and shaky, especially if I go outside in the heat.
19 weeks pregnant –
Second-trimester dreams are so vivid!
20 weeks pregnant –
Two nights ago I had a dream it was a boy. I’m positive now that is it. In the dream I accidentally found out the sex at our 20-week appointment.
22 weeks pregnant –
This heat is really hard on me. I feel very faint even if I stand for just a few minutes. We walked about two blocks from our house yesterday, and I really feared I was about to pass out. So I had to lay down on the sidewalk, in the shade, until I could regain some energy and balance to finish the walk home. Thankfully my husband was there so the kids didn’t just run off.
25 weeks pregnant –
The guilt… just keeps getting stronger. I feel so bad that I’m not the best mom to my kids right now. And also so bad that I am horrible at taking care of my self this pregnancy. I almost never remember my prenatal vitamin. With my first two pregnancies, I ate relatively healthy and exercised throughout. With this one, I eat crap and barely move my body.
Who knew that a bikini wax when pregnant is so much more painful?!?!
These leg cramps are really making it even more difficult for me to sleep!
25 weeks, 4 days pregnant –
My first alcohol-free bachelorette weekend. I didn’t have the energy to stay out late with everyone, but I had a blast during the day and evening celebrating my friend’s upcoming wedding. Of course, I missed sipping on cocktails all day with everyone, but it was a good time. Fortunately, it was only a five-hour drive so I could bring my pregnancy pillow. I cannot sleep without that… it is one of my pregnancy must-haves!
26 weeks pregnant –
I’m sick again. I throw up if I have too much water, but it’s almost 100 degrees outside so I need to stay hydrated.
